The Pig Welfare Competence Centre, part of the Fokus Tierwohl network, took part in EuroTier digital 2021 with three panel discussions. These were moderated by Dr Thorsten Klauke (Secretariat of the Pig Welfare Competence Centre, North Rhine-Westphalia Chamber of Agriculture).

Dealing with sick and injured animals is part of a pig farmer’s daily routine. However, negative headlines about improper handling often lead to farmers being viewed in a negative light. Experts from the farming and veterinary sectors addressed this issue.
