The Focus Animal Welfare Network was part of the EU CAP Network Workshop in Hanover. The focus was on EU-wide professional exchange on the topic of animal welfare and sustainable animal husbandry. Three leading companies from the Focus Animal Welfare Network also offered participants the opportunity to learn about their operations and work during excursions.

The international group of workshop participants learned about animal welfare in the cattle, poultry and pig sectors directly on site. There were many interesting discussions and an open exchange between the participants.
